Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, speaking to patients and other medical providers on the phone, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance claims.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and explaining procedures.
- Perform basic medical procedures such as administering injections, collecting specimens, and conducting EKGs.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Assist with patient education by explaining medications, treatments, and follow-up care instructions.
- Perform basic coding and documentation of medical procedures and diagnoses.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting patient information.
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT) for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.40 - $16.62 per hour
