Midwife+Co is a collective of certified nurse-midwives who offer in-hospital and out-of-hospital births to women in the DFW area. With three locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Mansfield, we attend births at three highly sought-after hospitals and a free-standing birthing center, making our services accessible to a large geographical area across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with patient care and medical office duties, including medical records management, medical terminology, equipment preparation, and other duties as assigned by the healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will need to provide excellent patient care at all times and work collaboratively with the midwife team to achieve optimal patient

outcomes.

Location: This position is for our Dallas Location

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
• Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Strong patient care skills, including empathy and compassion.
• Skilled in phlebotomy and ordering labs
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with healthcare team.
• Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Certification in Medical Assisting is required.
• Proficient computer skills

Education

• Certified Medical Assistant certification
• Current CPR certification
