Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. The Medical Administrative Assistant will manage patient records, schedule appointments, and maintain the medical supply inventory. Additionally, the Medical Administrative Assistant will provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Medical Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage patient records and files via electronic health record platform
• Insurance Verification
• Schedule patient appointments and consultations
• Greet and check in patients
• Answer patient inquiries and provide information
• Maintain medical supply inventory
• Process medical and insurance forms
• Bill patients for services
• Answer multi-line phone
• Collect patient payments

Medical Administrative Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and insurance
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer ability
