Our Marketing Team is looking for a great person to lead our field Events Team!
What You'll Need to Bring:
- High Energy & Love Of People
- A desire to get out from behind the desk and an interest in working in different locations around New England
- A history of in person marketing / lead generation / or people management and a desire to take the next step in your career
- A sense of excitement about for creative solutions and overcoming challenges (because it will probably rain!)
What Success In This Role Looks Like:
- Generate leads and set sales appointments at 100+ shows and events per year
- Hire, train, schedule and approve payroll for promoters to collaborate on each event
- Maintain custom-themed booths tailored to the specifics of each upcoming event
- Complete all pre-event registration paperwork and meet submission deadlines
- Ensure all events have the needed supplies for success – a dedicated events cargo van is available – no need to transport supplies in a personal vehicle
An Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Be Great At:
- Lead Coordination – candidate must be great at setting future in-home meetings
- Working event booths and finding ways to generate value at slower times
- Being a positive person with a desire to support others
- In the field training and coaching of new team members
- Coordinating and overseeing event logistics from inception to conclusion
- Keeping track of detailed information and managing multiple timelines
- Picking up new software, technology, and processes quickly
- Following up with insistence and patience
- Being intrinsically motivated
- This job requires being able to set up and break down the displays and booth – candidates should be able to lift 40lbs

Position Work Schedule:
- Flexible With Consideration To The Reality Of An Events Position
- Upwards of 40 weekends a year
- An example of a common anticipated schedule
- Office Days Monday to Wednesday
- Dedicated to organizational tasks, including supply and inventory management, meeting with the team, and planning upcoming events
- Days Off: Thursday & Friday
- Event Days Saturdays & Sundays (based on event schedules)
While weekend events are a crucial part of the role, flexibility will be available for scheduling personal commitments. Office days or event days may also be flexed out for other field related work with flexible timing based on scouting needs and location visits.
It is also possible that some weeks would strictly be in the office Monday through Friday with no outside obligations. The expectation is that the right candidate understands the high variability of an events centered career and is comfortable and eager to embrace the flexibility inherent in the role.
