Position Purpose:
The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to Wightman’s Director of Marketing and will be responsible for proposal preparation and coordination, developing marketing materials and qualification packages, maintaining project and technical staff resume data, assisting with marketing initiatives and business development activities, and trade show and event coordination.

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with project teams and lead the production of proposals, statements of qualifications and related marketing materials.
- Assemble tailored responses to requests for qualifications (RFQ) and requests for proposals (RFP)
- Conduct market research to support proposal development
- Develop written content for marketing campaigns, advertisements, press releases, and social media posts
- Update and maintain project information, master templates, resumes and other firm content
- Assist in the maintenance of various databases to track potential projects and proposal/qualification content
- Plan and coordinate marketing and business development activities, including conferences, tradeshows, and client events

Organizational Relationships:
- Reports directly to Director of Marketing
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
- 2+ years of marketing experience
- Required skills: Adobe Suite (InDesign), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Social Media Platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Experience working in the architecture, engineering and construction industry
- Preferred skills: Database Management (Unanet and Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint a plus)
Travel:
- Position based in Kalamazoo
- Travel between offices for collaboration with team members and for project meetings will be required
- Hybrid (remote/in-person) work will be considered
