Marketing Coordinator who can contribute to existing projects while assisting with development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The
Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and be able to take instructions.
Objectives of this role- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s brand strategy
- Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
- Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success
- Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
- Support the development and maintenance of internal tools, including credentials database, trackers, global contact directory, and intranets
- Build knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices and local marketing tactics with team members
Responsibilities- Manage all websites, for functionality, optimization and content creation
- Create new custom website graphics and banners each month with new/used/service specials for each store
- Manage staff pages if applicable for store
- Control all aspects of our Social media and Google my business page (Minimum 3 post per account, per week)
- Meet with GM’s monthly to discuss and form upcoming advertising budget, community involvement and vendor discussions
- Reconcile each stores Advertising pre-set budget each month with the accounting offices postings
- Assist in applying for any IMR/LMA/Co-op Funds when applicable
- Report to the Executive team with an ROI report on all advertising sources and share best vendors and success stories around the group
- Be the liaison between the stores and each advertising vendor to coordinate
- Assist in creating internal custom graphics and banners for special events, spiffs, contest or other needs of the General Managers
- Host special events throughout the company such as Car Shows, rotary, football games, and other community events
- Assist in booking any corporate traditional advertising such as TV commercials/Billboards/Newspaper etc.
- Additional tasks to be added or removed at the discretion of the Executive team
Required skills and qualifications- Experience in marketing coordination or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Experience using data analytics software for research
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred skills and qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Working knowledge of the Automotive industry
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
