Form of work Under the direction of the Director Budgeting & Decision Support, the Manager Payroll manages and controls the Banner payroll system and associated sub-systems. Ensures accuracy of all payroll processing for checks and electronic direct deposits for the employees of University Hospital. Supervises and trains subordinate staff. Is responsible for monitoring and testing the functional and programmatic aspects of the payroll software system, as well as providing oversight, and ensuring the accuracy of its output. Responsible for the reporting and reconciling of all state defined benefits.
Finance or a related field required. Banner experience a plus. Five (5) years of progressively more responsible payroll experience, including two (2) years of supervisory/managerial experience, required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize and work under deadlines, required. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
