A Japanese Accounting Firm is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Accounting Manager to join their team.
Title: Japanese Bilingual Accounting Manager
Industry: Accounting
Location: Remote - This position is required to work in Eastern Time
Type: Exempt
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or a tax concentration within an accounting program from an accredited college/university.
- 5+ years of individual income tax and payroll experience
- A CPA or EA license required
- Strong tax accounting and analytical skills.
- Business level proficiency in English required – Dual business level proficiency in Japanese preferred/required
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing 1040 tax returns and other tax forms
- Assist in responding to notices and act as client representative with tax authorities
- Maintain payroll operation by collecting and entering data, and reviewing payroll reporting
- Work with clients to develop tax efficient solutions which address clients’ business needs
