Maintenance Manager
Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, a retail location in Kalkaska, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.

Position Summary
A Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of an organization's facilities and its components. Maintenance manager will ensure that their co-workers have a solid foundation available to complete their duties according to the demands asked of them.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Provides timely and accurate updates to the leadership regarding project status, budget and schedule.
- Identifies issues proactively and fixes effectively to avoid down time or future failure of equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance in and around facilities. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- Responsible for an efficient and team driven focused operation that promotes continuous improvement in the areas of safety, cost, quality, delivery, environmental and technology.
- Maintain and continuously improve the use of the preventive maintenance program through MaintainX.
- Direct departmental labor effectively and efficiently.
- Inspect finished projects to assure proper workmanship was achieved. Provide constructive feedback to employees as required.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Develop and maintain scheduled maintenance logs for facility and its components.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Responsible for an efficient and team driven focused operation that promotes continuous improvement in the areas of safety, cost, quality, delivery, environmental and technology.
- Coordinates or assist with coordinating and overseeing the activities of outside contractors.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Assist with management duties including scheduling, monitoring, and checking of timecards.
- Ensures proper operation of systems in compliance with required regulations and codes.
- Preferred generator knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor as deemed appropriate.
- High School graduate or GED
- 5-6 years of experience in facility/building maintenance management
- Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to use hand and power tools to make minor repairs
- Plan, organize, and prioritize time and workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking. Must be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, odors, and noise. Routinely required to work out of doors under inclement weather conditions.
