Maintenance Manager

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager who can supervise and manage a team of 15-20 Maintenance Technicians working across 2-3 separate facilities.

We expect anyone applying to this job to have a very solid, thorough understanding of and experience with:

• Presses
• Paint Lines
• Coneyors
• Extrusion Machinery
• Mechatronics
• Electronics, both controls (PLC) and power supply
• Pneumatics
• Hydraulics
• Facilities Maintenance
• Blueprint reading

We would expect you to have at least 10 years of professional, full-time experience with maintenance in major manufacturing operations. An Engineering Degree is preferred but not required.

The Maintenance Manager is expected to be responsible for :

• Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule
• Managing Predictive Maintenance programs using Thermography, Vibration, Ultrasound, and other technologies
• Oversee all repairs (planned and unplanned)
• Major Maintenance projects, and other CapEx projects requiring scheduled downtime/outages
• Materials and purchase requests for machinery parts and facilities needs
• Managing proper data/reporting on all required metrics
• Compliance: Ensuring we maintain OSHA, Mi-OSHA, and EPA standards throughout the organization
• Maintenance Team management:
• Trainings
• Corrective actions
• PIPs
• Performance Evaluations

Safety is also a critical component of this role. We expect the Maintenance Manger to drive a culture of Safety amongst all Employees & Vendors. You'll participate as a direct contact in Safety Audits, and be expected to follow up on any issues revealed in an audit

The schedule for this job is Dayshift, Monday through Friday. You should expect to average about 45 hours per week. The start and end times are flexible, and may need to shift depending on daily need to overlap/intersect with other shifts.

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. You must be able to pass a stringent background check and drug screenings.

Salary: around $70-95k (open to discussion)
