The company is looking for a safety-conscious candidate that is willing to learn and grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain various reports to track inventory trends, shortages, and back orders.
Spend significant amount of time in Infor Visual ERP, as well as on the plant floor, verifying correct location of raw and processed inventory of steel plate and cut blanks.
Inventory, restock, and report on consumable material items.
Compare actual stock inventory against company tracked records to ensure all counts are as accurate as possible.
A successful individual will be able to coordinate with production control and assistant, and purchasing and scheduling to ensure all received shipments are moving in and out of receiving efficiently.
Audit shipments and receipts daily. Ensuring materials, parts, and equipment received match BOL and PO information.
Coordinate outbound and inbound material shipments.
Perform physical inventory counting.
Update and maintain electronic physical inventory counts.
Reconciles inventory discrepancies.
Performs weekly dock audits to ensure all materials are moved and inventoried to correct locations and accounted for.
Assists traffic and material handling personnel with inventory issues.
May need to operate material handing equipment on a limited basis.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read engineering prints and material measurement equipment (tape measure)
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Verbal and written communication skills
