We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team in Mesquite, TX. The Inventory Control Specialist will play a crucial role in posting all transaction including inbound, outbound, and internal transfer, as well as maintaining accurate and organized records related to warehouse operations and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
• Develop procedures to effectively manage inventory. Control and monitor the flow of raw
materials and in-transit stock. Develop continual improvement plan for loss / damage
mitigation.
• Conduct goods receipt / goods issue inspection in a weekly manner to ensure employees are
fully follow SOP to post goods receipt and goods issue.
• Initiate inventory count / audit plans (Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-annual/ Yearly). Prepare
inventory count report for the management approval and documentation.
• Report: Generate and distribute reports on warehouse performance, document accuracy, and
inventory status to management as needed.
• SAP Transaction Inbound: Request packing list and verify the order information with Purchasing
or Corporate Procurement. Post goods receipt in SAP and prepare incoming material documents
for WH. Notify and follow up with Quality until inspection is done. Then release the inventory
from the system.
• Raw Material transfer: Cooperate with Production Planning for raw material reservation.
Prepare picking sheets for WH and post goods issue in SAP.
• Finished Goods transfer: Cooperate with Packaging for finished goods transfer. Send the
document to WH for shelving.
• SAP Transaction Outbound: Verify shipping information with sales company and allocate goods
to DN (delivery note). Post goods issue and confirm POD in SAP. Prepare packing list, BOL, and
additional document.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Required).
• Proficiency in SAP or similar WMS (Required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with solar energy or warehouse operations is an asset.
• Other duties as assigned.
