Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date inventory records. The Inventory Control Specialist will ensure that raw materials are properly distributed to employees and completed products are pulled from the inventory to complete orders.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Perform cycle counts on stock items and raw material monthly.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Stock and log all returned materials.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Use inventory orders to obtain the appropriate materials from the warehouse, making sure to double check the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Utilize all raw materials and finished products to reduce waste within the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Assemble shelves and other items in shop as needed
• Assist the receiving clerk as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
