DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
Perform annual wall-to-wall inventories of government property at the NASA Johnson Space Center, therefore requiring a good deal of walking. Support government property processes. Enhance product work-flow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Create and review procedures for distribution and Inventory Management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Have knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within government property. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of various tasks. Work under general supervision. Candidate must also undergo a background investigation in order to obtain their JSC badge.
Work onsite JSC 5 days a week. No telework available.

EDUCATION:
- Associate degree or equivalent in area of specialty, or normally possess greater than 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 2 Years with Associate's degree, 3-5 years equivalent experience.
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- United States Citizenship Required
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully meet challenging schedule requirements.
- Ability to work independently and follow work processes.
- Knowledge of government property regulations is highly desired.
- Knowledge of SAP is also desired.
