The Victory Packaging Inventory Control Specialist provides expertise in warehouse management, product storage planning and cycle count inventory. The Specialist works closely with branch operations and accounting staff to make sure all inventory procedures are followed.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English required, verbal and written
- Two to three years experience in packaging industry preferred
- Ability to create and edit complex documents in MS Office: Word and Excel
- Ability to use or quickly learn Victory-specific software
- Strong analytical ability and detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to quickly identify issues and effectively communicate with team or management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Essential Functions/ Job Duties:
- Reviews new item set up forms submissions for accuracy compared to item specifications (drawings and artwork) and quotations from sourcing team.
- Ability to search within the item master to identify potential existing items that contain the same specification requirements as new item requested.
- Identifies and tracks project requests for follow up documentation and information that is required.
- Reconciles and researches discrepancies.
- Partners closely with branch personnel and sourcing to manage the item master file.
- Evaluates change requests from the branches for the item master and determines action steps
- Provides management reporting related to item master projects and accuracy.
- Quickly identifies and communicates issues to branch and sourcing management.
- Coaches branch team on item management best practices and processes.

Physical Demands:
- Perform job duties in severe weather conditions: heat, cold, damp, dry
- Walk for distances of 100 yards repeatedly and without assistance
- Lift 50 pounds repeatedly and without assistance or equipment
- Utilize all material handling equipment without assistance
- Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
