The Skinner Law Firm, a Chester County Criminal Defense Law Firm in downtown West Chester, is seeking a full- time Legal Assistant/paralegal to provide comprehensive administrative support. We are seeking a hardworking, outgoing individual who is a team player with the ability to work independently. Duties include answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining client files & relationships. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word & Excel) and Adobe. Candidate must have exceptional computer & telephone skills. Familiarity with Clio Case Management & Clio Grow software is a plus. The Legal Assistant position is a full-time job from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Legal experience, particularly in criminal defense, is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with strong communication and organization skills as well as ability to provide excellent customer service, multi-task, handle priorities and meet deadlines. Our ideal candidate should have at least two years of legal experience, but recent College or Paralegal graduates may apply. No phone calls or drop-ins please.
