SalaryGalloway’s Houston office is seeking a Legal Assistant. Tasks include scheduling/calendaring depositions, hearings, meetings, deadlines, drafting correspondence, maintaining files, e-filing, opening up client matters, and other job-related duties as they are assigned.
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of experience as Legal Assistant in a law firm environment is a requirement.
- Knowledge of day-to-day operations in a law firm, and state and federal court systems.
- Excellent technical skills in various software applications.
- Working knowledge of document management software.
- Organizational skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written communication a must.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Qualified candidates will be self-starters with excellent communication and writing skills. Must be detail-oriented and willing to work independently as well as together as a team in an active practice with various Shareholders, Associates and all other levels of support staff.
