The US LBM Item File Analyst supports the organization by developing and maintaining the company product data in the ERP Item File. This position will work closely with internal teams in Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to research and set up product lines accurately, facilitate best practices in operations, and not disrupt business activities. This associate will also play a key role in setting ERP product data standards and maintaining a high level of data integrity for the business and its customers. Additionally, this associate will initiate and lead projects to meet business goals and develop processes and best practices to ensure data in systems support the needs of stakeholders. This is a fully remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business owners on data challenges, providing analysis and expertise in business data to recommend solutions.
- Utilizes various tools to analyze, manipulate, and transform data requests in order to upload data into the ERP. Must ensure upload accomplishes stakeholder's need while ensuring compliance to ERP standards and meeting expectations of
- other stakeholders across US LBM.
- Apply critical thinking in reviewing provided data in various formats. Prepares product data to upload into ERP system.
- Set product data standards and ensure data integrity across 50k+ SKUs in multiple ERP instances with different standards and setups. Impacts end-user efficiency and working capital accuracy as Item File parameters affect transactional and
- inventory data accuracy.
- Execute ERP data best practices, standardization, data deduplication, mapping and transformation, and business validations.
- Manage small to medium and/or cross-functional projects. Communicate project progress and milestones to the Senior Data Manager.
- Subject Matter Expert - Understand internal and external stakeholder data needs and expectations for information.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts and data analysts to ensure the ERP data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Follows team best practices to achieve maintenance consistency and goals.
- Reviews, assigns, and completes tickets on the teams' Service Desk.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum experience or equivalent education: 5 years of purchasing, inventory control/management, materials input, or warehousing experience.
- Solid understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system is required.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, Snowflake, Access, etc.) is a plus. Experience with Epicor ERP Systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to navigate and manage ERP systems, especially Epicor products.
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Project, and Outlook.
- Must have a moderate level of experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Effectively work in a team environment with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficiency with data governance/management concepts.
- Strong knowledge of the building material industry. Must know parts, material supplies, etc., relative to the industry.
- Knowledge and skill to organize, plan, manage, execute, and evaluate projects.
- Understanding of stocking, inventory control, and warehousing principles.
- Physical demands include sitting for extended periods, standing and walking, bending or stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
