The CDS Engagement role manages the onboarding and renewal of a customer’s data enabled service(s) by supporting our internal and external Business Partners as a single point of contact for CDS requests, eliciting and communicating requirements, and overseeing the configuration and validation of File Transfers and eligibility or data connections.
This role provides support and expertise with new product or service initiatives. This work is done with an all-encompassing view of the Customer to ensure the delivery of a timely and seamless Member Experience.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. This role can be remote or the employee can choose to work on site in Eden prairie, MN.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Request Intake, Triage, and Reporting
- Elicit, Document, and Communicate Customer/Business/Technical Requirements
- Design and Deploy Solutions with Internal Teams and/or IT Business Partners
- Validate Solutions Meet Customer/Business/Technical Requirements

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in business analysis collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to management
- 1+ years of experience working with large data set files
- 1+ years of experience working with internal and external Business Partners
- 1+ years of experience translating file formats with Business Partners
- Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluations of business processes
- Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
- Intermediate level of proficiency with PC Based software programs and automated database management systems
- Intermediate or better proficiency using MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
- Proven ability to provide client consultant and facilitated client meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- ECG (Electronic Communication Gateway) application experience
- eDTS (Enterprise Data Tracking System) application experience
- Proven ability to monitory and navigate through troubleshooting failed File Transfers
- Experience developing data file transfer configuration and validation for File Transfers and eligibility

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
