The Client Advisory Support (CAS) Department is looking to fulfil a Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) Analyst role. This newly created role will aid in the collection of and reporting of beneficial ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ("FinCEN") of the U.S. Department of Treasury. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of operations or KYC/AML experience.
CAS provides full and dedicated support to the Client Advisor ("CA") and Wealth Advisor ("WA") teams across all Bessemer Offices. The successful applicant will enjoy the opportunity to grow with an established and expanding division of a growing middle office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for Bessemer CTA compliance.
- Coordinate know your client "KYC" requirements across different departments.
- Verify and report beneficial ownership information to FinCEN.
- Lead in the communication of CTA KYC requirements to the Client Advisors
- Ensure proper application of CTA FinCEN guidelines into strong quality assurance controls.
- Review existing KYC information/documents to ensure compliance.
- Run data quality reports to ensure correct information is on file.
- Work with Data Governance to track changes and updates to KYC information to ensure filings are completed on time.
- Evaluate any potential risk/liability and escalate as needed.
- Work on special projects as needed to support departmental initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
