We're looking for an outstanding Filings Compliance Analyst to play a key role within our insurance product team. This person and the team will collaborate extensively with the insurance product managers, with an ultimate goal of delivering best-in-class products to small businesses nationwide. What You'll Do:

  • Own and facilitate the entire insurance product filing process
  • Formulate filing strategies and manage the status of all 51 jurisdictions for lines of businesses
  • Manage tight deadlines and relationships with external consulting teams and state regulators
  • Collaborate with Insurance Product Managers on projects ranging from regulatory compliance research and state surveys to product development
  • Project manage compliance issues cross-functionally with Insurance Product Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering to ensure risks are mitigated and necessary updates are completed
  • Organize and maintain all filing-related documentation on Confluence, JIRA, and internal databases

What We Need:

  • 1-5 years of experience filing new insurance products (Form, Rate, Rule) and amendments across multiple states and lines of businesses
  • Familiarity with 51 jurisdictions' filing laws and filing via SERFF & Florida's i-File system
  • Experience in responding to objections and filling out transmittals
  • Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Stellar ability to manage competing priorities and multiple responsibilities
  • Strong accountability and ability to work autonomously

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible to participate in our equity incentive program and will also receive our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position:
$62,000—$127,000 USD
