HNI Healthcare is seeking to hire a TEMP IT Support Specialist for a 6 month term. THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE.

Information Technology support to system users. This support allows the organization to operate efficiently. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for employees either in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
What You'll Do:
- IT Help desk support for HNI VitalsMD web application and HNI Web INTRANET
- Assist employees, physicians, directors to ensure proper use of VITAL SIGNS and timely charge capture.
- Assist with the maintenance and support of corporate SharePoint server & intranet site.
- Help to develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
- Responsible for reliable connections to client sites (medical facilities) and their HIS (hospital information system), as well as any other tools and applications needed for the engagement (VPNs, FIs, Printers, Medicare).
- Provide phone and general computer troubleshooting support for the company.
- Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Oversee any issues that may result from our computer systems in our Business Offices.
- Provide report assistance to Data Analyst and Business Intelligence team.
- Responsible for assisting servers and workstations maintenance and patch/security updates.
- Printer maintenance. Ensure that all printers, scanners, fax machines are in working order.
- Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
- Ensure proper computer use as stated in Employee Handbook.
- Responsible for Anti-Virus Protection as well as mal-ware threats (IM,spyware / phishing /peer-to-peer).
- Help Desk Support – reply and respond to service requests via ServiceDesk Email Box.
- Maintain a record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
- Provide software assistance (VitalsMD) to new and existing providers.
- Assist with creation and management of VitalsMD content for training and knowledge base reference.
- Monitor all employees – ensuring they have all tools needed to perform their duties.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
- Extensive knowledge of computer system hardware
- Extensive knowledge in MS Windows Operating systems (Windows Server)
- Extensive knowledge in MAC OSX, IOS
- Extensive knowledge in mobile Android OS
- Extensive knowledge in MS Exchange, SharePoint Experience
- Knowledge in Security, Deployment, and Maintenance
- Knowledge of phone systems, PBX systems, and VOIP
- 4 – 5 years of IT background
- 3 years of telecommunications experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access – MS Office Applications
- Ability to listen to technical problems and offer support

- BS Computer Science is preferred
- Requires 4 years of IT experience including 3 years of telecommunications experience
