Compensation: $52,000-$62,000 annually
Location/Travel: San Antonio Corporate office, travel to local clinics (25%), other clinic travel as needed
Job Summary:
An IT Support Specialist at Empower Behavioral Health (EBH) and Circle of Care will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical assistance to our staff members on-site, in our surrounding clinics, and on the road ensuring smooth operations of our IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone with a strong combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of various IT systems, applications, and hardware, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees on site and remotely, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to enhance IT infrastructure and user experience.
- Respond to service requests promptly and prioritize tasks to meet established service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct system upgrades and software installations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system backups, antivirus updates, and patch installations.
- Assist in user training and orientation on IT systems and applications.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles to aid in issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance IT operations.

Education and Experience:
Required:
- Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an IT related field
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and printer configurations.
- Proven experience in providing on-site IT support in an office setting.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus.
