FRANKLIN LOAN CENTER seeks an experienced IT Specialist to help support users across the company both onsite and remotely with computer issues, software, computer accessories, PC configuration and training. Franklin is a growing, dynamic, technology forward company, with the opportunity to learn a host of cloud technologies and assist the company delivering the best service to our borrowers, business partners, vendors and employees. The IT Specialist role involves great customer service skills for our internal help desk, diagnostic skills, communications skills, being a team player, and able to support a technology dependent environment with timely and friendly service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Help desk – provides support through help desk for all requests remotely.
Install and configure software, printers, networking, scanners, phones, etc., remotely and at HQ in Palm Desert, CA.
Troubleshooting/diagnostics of technical, computer, software, network issues remotely and at HQ in Palm Desert, CA. Receive and configure computers and equipment for deployment from HQ in Palm Desert, CA.
Network administrative duties, account creation, password, MFA, group membership.
Inventory, purchasing and resource management.
Communications – strong written and verbal communication skills needed for documentation, ticket write ups, tech articles, and user education.
Security/safety – needs to be conscious of all safety concerns, regulations, protocols, and follow all our company guidelines. Ability to enforce and comply with all confidentiality and secure data access policy.
Ability to keep a positive and friendly demeanor, promote company mission and goals, teamwork, and a desire to pitch in on projects and initiatives for the overall success of our organization.
Continuous skills development in our technology sandbox and having fun while doing it. Loving to learn, tinker, think outside the box, and expand our service to consistently improve our team and company.

PLATFORMS (Required Experience)
Windows 10/11 experience, the more the better.
PC hardware configuration and installation.
Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.).
DESIRED EXPERIENCE (not required but you will learn)
Microsoft 360 cloud services.
Entra ID/AAD/User management, Intune/device management, basic admin, tools.
Any experience in vertical mortgage industry software, services, CRM, point of sale, etc.
