The Company

Employees should be prepared to work at the North Orange County office 2-3x week. Furthermore, team members will be required to travel to client sites occasionally as needed (from Northern San Diego to LA County), with parking and mileage reimbursement included.
The Position
We are looking for a technician who can provide excellent customer support to over 6,000 users at 180+ organizations. You would be working with a wide range of technologies and given the opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge. At boxIT, we appreciate employees who demonstrate adaptability in diverse environments and take responsibility for their actions. You should have topnotch trouble-shooting skills, be a reliable team player and understand the importance of communication and documentation. You must have a valid CA driver’s license and must be willing to travel to client sites and the office as needed. Lastly, you will be required to participate in a weekly on-call rotation approximately every 12-16 weeks.
There is currently a full-time position available in the LA/Orange County area.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11
- Experience supporting Apple macOS
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Cloud resources (Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Familiarity with ‘smart’ devices such as phones, tablets, etc.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python (bonus)
- Knowledge of common office communication applications such as Slack or Microsoft Teams (bonus)
- Exposure to IT ticketing system (ConnectWise Manage/PSA an extra plus)

Pay is based on experience.
