The International Account Manager, WPB is a key business development role focused on identifying opportunities for new to bank client acquisition and supporting the needs of our internationally oriented prospective clients through inbound and outbound referrals. The role holder will engage with the Employee Banking Solutions (EBS) Team, WPB/ Commercial Banking (CMB)/ Global Banking (GB) / Private Banking (PB) Relationship Managers, and other key stakeholders in the strategy, planning and fulfillment requirements of newly sourced and existing to bank managed relationships. The International Account Manager will also collaborate with the Digital Account Opening, International Banking Center (IBC), Direct Relationship, and Wealth Center teams to ensure proper focus on strategy and deliverables. In collaboration with the Customer Team, the International Account Manager will prepare and implement direct sales and marketing plans designed to develop and establish new relationships along with accompanying individual sales results.
The International Account Manager, WPB will identify events and engagement opportunities where international, multi-country prospect customers and likely to attend. They will build out and leverage a network of partners and organizations to promote HSBC to attract prospective clients – inclusive of building relationships with corporate clients of Global Banking and Commercial Banking, as well as select third party intermediaries targeting their key employees for Personal Banking relationships.
Here’s what you can expect:
Grow Wealth and Personal Banking new to bank clients/accounts, deepen and retain relationships, grow revenue, and initiate/develop and maintain cross line of business and local and global relationships with key stakeholders and leaders, Relationship Managers, and Senior Management to drive client growth. Ensure compliance and actively manage operational risk in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards and policies.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $122,000 and $183,000.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
