In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for day-to day management of the Finance & Administration functions at Luna Park in Coney Island
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining daily cash room controls and reconciliations, bank deposits, and closing out end of the day business operations
- Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting operational reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsible for developing sound and cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of products and services
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
- Responsible for evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
- Assist the Corporate Finance & Administration team with Accounts Payable process: audit bills for accuracy, confirm quantity and quality of deliverables (products and services) with other business units, and monitor timely payment of invoices
- Assist the Corporate Finance & Administration team with the management of Warehouse department and inventory controls
- Responsible for the setup, data entry, and maintenance of all information systems
- Responsible for implementation and improvement of SOPs while ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and industry standards
- Responsible for implementation and improvement of digital platforms to optimize the Finance & Administration department resources
- Assist third parties (e.g., auditors, vendors, consultants, etc.) with information and general support
- Audit information systems entries to ensure quality and integrity of data
- Participate in training programs
- Maintain professional knowledge up to date by participating in courses and educational opportunities
- Perform other duties expected of the Finance & Administration Assistant Manager position and assist in all other critical needs of the Company as assigned

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum five years of Finance & Administration experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Experience using POS, Asset Management, Accounting, or ERP software
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Due to the nature of the amusement park business, must be able to work a flexible schedule which include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
