We're the New Terminal One (NTO) at John F. Kennedy International Airport, a bold and exciting project to develop a world class, international terminal that can serve as a global
gateway to the New York metropolitan area and the greater United States. The $9+ billion first phase is the largest single asset project financing in US history.
It will be built on sites now occupied by Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the former Terminal 3, where it will anchor JFK's south side. Construction will take place in phases, with the first
phase, including the new arrivals and departures hall and first set of new gates, expected to open in 2026.
NTO will set a new standard for design and service and aspires to obtain a global Top 5 Skytrax rating as one of the finest ten airport terminals in the world.

Who You Are:
As a Key Accounts Manager at New Terminal One (NTO), you are at the forefront of bridging our project with key stakeholders. Your role is pivotal in liaising with airlines, service providers, and various businesses engaged with NTO. You are someone with a background in airline affairs, project management, leasing, and tenant coordination. Your expertise will be crucial in the early stages of the project, working closely with different airlines and businesses, as well as our project management team. You are expected to have strong skills in conflict resolution, flexibility, teamwork, communications, respectfulness, and show initiative.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a collaborative, proactive individual who can work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning NTO efforts from airline lease agreements to opening day and beyond.
- Building and strengthening relationships with airlines, the Port Authority, and other third parties related to revenue generation.
- Supporting and interfacing with airline representatives to implement operating standards and terminal conditions.
- Collaborating with Project Management, Operational Readiness, and Airport Transfer teams to ensure the terminal's readiness for opening day.
- Interfacing with Operations for testing operational scenarios required by airlines or for marketing activities.
- Continuously evaluating the market for new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Working with Operations and IT to develop and implement NTO's digital strategy with airlines.
- Helping to optimize commercial strategy and deliver the business plan of the company.
- Supporting the development and implementation of commercial plans for third party operations.
What will you do :
- Integrating and Aligning Functions: Ensuring various functions across the organization work together with a customer-first approach to optimize revenue.
- Establishing Targets: Setting clear targets and developing internal processes for opening day readiness of accounts.
- Managing Contract Compliance: Overseeing contract adherence, ensuring all terms are met effectively.
- Negotiating: Engaging in discussions and negotiations with stakeholders to achieve beneficial agreements.
- Generating Business Cases: Crafting and presenting compelling business cases to support strategic decisions.
- Public Speaking: Confidently representing NTO in public forums, presentations, and meetings.
- Focusing on Customer Needs: Prioritizing customer requirements to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
- Developing Commercial Strategies: Participating in the creation and execution of commercial strategies to meet company goals.
- Implementing Commercial Plans: Assisting in the development and roll-out of commercial plans for third-party operations like offices, lounges, and ancillary services.
- Exhibiting Core Competencies: Demonstrating conflict resolution, flexibility, teamwork, effective communication, respectfulness, and initiative in all aspects of work.
