Responsibilities:
As the Assistant General Manager at ABC Parts International, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company operates smoothly and continues to grow. Working directly with the General Manager, you'll oversee various aspects of our operations, including:
· Assisting the General Manager and CEO with various tasks and projects.
· Generate reports and analyze data related to sales, purchasing, or other company KPI’s.
· Attend daily and weekly meetings with employees and General Manager, take notes and follow up on any open tasks.
· Establish daily communication with department managers to oversee and maintain the optimal functionality of each department.
· Coordinating with the Accounting, Customer Service, Warehouse & Purchasing Department Managers to ensure the smooth operation of each department, overseeing tasks related to each department and reporting back to the General Manager daily.
· Monitoring, supporting, and building the sales team, including coaching and training.
· Collaborate with HR on performance reviews, improvement plans and assist with coaching/disciplinary action.
Qualifications:
· Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.
· Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within the automotive parts industry or a related field.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in business software systems or ERP's, ability to run and analyze reports.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Demonstrated track record of implementing corrective action plans.
· Effective communication skills for addressing disciplinary issues professionally while maintaining a positive work environment.
