The Watertown Urban Mission is seeking an Intake Specialist to assist the Mission in collecting necessary date to better serve it's customers . The selected candidate will greet guests/visitors to the Mission who are in need of services and will collect data to input into the Mission's database. The Intake Specialist will work closely with the Food Pantry Manager to ensure accurate information is collected and will also be responsible for taking Food $ense orders
``Duties```
- Greet and check-in guests and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Collect and verify visitor information, including insurance details and PHQ-9 measures
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with administrative support tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Collaborate with other agency providers to ensure accurate and efficient service and make necessary referrals to appropriate agencies on behalf of Mission visitors
- Maintain confidentiality of visitor information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in a non-profit agency, office or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
