We are seeking compassionate and team-oriented individuals to join our spirited team.
As Intake Specialist, you will provide administrative support to the staff and participants, while directing participants to appropriate next steps.
Successful Elements:
• Greet visitors and clients
• Collect and review new client registration forms
• Answer incoming calls and take messages/transfer to the designated parties in a pleasant and professional manner
• Assemble new client case folders
• Create and distribute client schedules
• Work with the Career Services Manager to assign cases to the Career Navigators
• Utilize daily timekeeping system to track client attendance and verify carfare eligibility
• Provide front desk coverage and distribute carfare as needed
• Work with Career Services Manager to resolve client scheduling conflicts
• Distribute discretionary forms and collect client documentation
• Responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality System
• Perform non-routine tasks as necessary for the office
Required Experience:
• Experienced in answering telephones in a courteous, efficient and professional manner
• Experienced in handling high volume client traffic
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of various types of office equipment
• Basic computer skills required
• Previous office experience
