Mid-sized Bodily Injury & Property Insurance Defense Litigation Law Firm is looking for experienced Litigation Legal Assistants to join their downtown West Palm Beach office. Should have experience with Bodily Injury or First Party Property defense litigation. Will also consider those with Plaintiff's Personal Injury experience.
***This position requires that you have AT LEAST one (1) year experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant at a FL law firm***
***Salary is $60,000 to $70,000 per year
This is an IN OFFICE position but we allow HYBRID / Work-From-Home 2 DAYS PER WEEK AFTER 90 DAYS!
We handle the defense of car accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability and other catastrophic injuries. We also do first party property defense on cases involving damage to residential and commercial buildings.
DUTIES: Opening case files, client intake, issuing subpoenas for medical record/bills, ordering, assistant the paralegals, helping attorneys prepare responses to demand letters, drafting some basic pleadings and motions, sending out discovery,deposition scheduling, e-filing, client phone calls, drafting correspondence, and a lot of scheduling / managing attorney calendars.
