We are looking to add a dynamic, passionate Inside Sales professional to our strong, growing team at JMG Marketing.
JMG Marketing was established in 2002 and has delivered over 300 million direct mailers for more than 600 dealers, agencies and OEMs. Our clients turn to us for tailor-made solutions that fit their needs and desired outcomes. We leverage the General Manager's know-how, the OEM's brand value, and JMG's proprietary data platform and experienced team to provide innovative solutions with white-glove service.
In this role, you will primarily focus on generating strong leads to our highly experienced sales team and work closely with them to sell JMG's data-driven, high-touch direct mail and other marketing solutions to auto dealers, agencies and OEMs.
To do this well, you must truly love being a strategic partner to automotive dealers, and driving targeted, revenue-generating marketing solutions for existing and prospective clients. You must be strong at presenting JMG's customized solutions, as well as embrace our data-driven, tech-enabled infrastructure and white-glove approach.
Job Description:
- Identify and pursue new sales prospects within existing and untapped markets, as well as through JMG's rich pre-developed lead lists
- Build and maintain an Inside Sales process and serve as owner gatekeeper to our Business Development activity in our CRM
- Lead a weekly review of dealer calls and visits pre-planning, recaps and results
- Support sales in achieving revenue and strategic targets for the company
- Work with Sales and Ad Ops team to develop proposals/campaigns
- Provide and promote best-in-class customer service in all interactions and communication with dealer partners and internal associates
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Inside Sales experience, with proven ability to manage a significant lead list and convert strong leads into new customers alongside experienced sales reps, ideally in a Sales/Business Development Rep capacity or similar
- 2+ years of experience in automotive, ideally with dealership-level interactions
- Persuasive, self-directed, self-starter that can manage your own time, set priorities and meet monthly goals
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, including strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Wear a customer service hat and be able to listen and respond to dealers
This is a remote position, with an expectation that you will be available to travel to our New York City office at least once per quarter.
