The Role:
As a Business Development Manager at StrawberryFrog, you will be pivotal in driving B2B growth, employing both traditional and cutting-edge sales tactics to discover leads, attract new clients, and close sales. Your role will demand a proactive approach to sales, utilizing a variety of methods from outreach, cold calling, LinkedIn, conferences, and networking groups to leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance prospecting efforts.
The Role focuses on prospecting outbound leads based on our ideal customer profile. The CGO will give you sectors and accounts to chase and have you build lists of key decision-makers to reach out via email, LinkedIn, calls, and in person. You will always be prospecting. Your goal is to book meetings with prospective clients and turn these into revenue.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales and Business Development, preferably in the advertising or marketing industry.
- Experience with analyzing data and interpreting performance metrics.
- An innovative and strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work
- Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities.
- Manage inbound leads that are driven by outbound effort.
- Nurture early-stage opportunities.
- Craft and execute growth strategies to secure new clients and penetrate new markets, leveraging both conventional and innovative sales channels.
- Utilize Movement Thinking™ to develop engaging pitches and presentations that resonate with potential clients.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring a fluid client journey.
- Track trigger based targets weekly and develop a strategy to turn these into opportunities
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitor campaigns to optimize sales opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets, starting with a ramp-up period and gradually increasing expectations for the number of meetings and opportunities generated.
Performance Measurement:
Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed quarterly quotas/targets based on the number of meetings set up and the subsequent sales closed. Recognizing the importance of building momentum, targets will be set with an initial ramp-up period, allowing you to steadily increase your activity levels and outcomes over time.

The compensation package for this position includes an annual base salary range from $70,000 to $80,000 + Commission as of the date of this job posting, in accordance with the Pay Transparency Act in New York. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as the specific responsibilities associated with the position. StrawberryFrog reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time, in compliance with applicable laws and market conditions. In addition to the salary, the compensation package for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off, all subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's benefit plans.
