[HYBRID] Human Resources Coordinator (2+ years of HR exp. req.) Description
Our client, a nonprofit in Austin, is looking for an HR Coordinator to add to their culture-focused, mission-driven Team. This position was created to provide support to their HR Director. From benefits administration to employee relations and overall process review, you’ll play a key role in driving daily HR functions. They’re a small company of 42 but they are a tight-knit team filled with impressive employee tenure. Most of their team members have been there for over 10 years. Important Note: Hybrid flexibility after training (4-6 weeks). Initially, one day a week at home and after a few months of assimilation, up to two days. No set days as it will depend on the needs of the Team.
[HYBRID] Human Resources Coordinator (2+ years of HR exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Administer employee benefits while fielding inquiries and concerns
• Reconcile statements and generate check requests for the director
• Support new hire orientation and ongoing training activities
• Update HRIS and collaborate with the Payroll Department
• Prepare performance evaluation forms and exit interview documentation
• Complete COBRA notification letters and monitor employee coverage
• Support recruitment activities and employment verifications
• Record and maintain employee files, SOPs, performance metrics, etc.
• Identify and communicate risks, concerns, and possible resolutions
• Champion an inclusive, culture-focused, and a people-first environment

• 2 years of HR experience required
• Willingness to obtain employer-sponsored HR certification within the first year required
