Description
The Human Resources Internwill help lead a key initiative to clean up and ensure accuracy of data within the Human Resources Information System. The intern will learn to navigate the system and help assist the HRIS Analyst on initiatives such as: integrating annual reviews within the HRIS, ensuring the accuracy of key demographic information, auditing of HRIS data/personnel file content, and helping to create and manage position assignments within the HRIS.

Additional responsibilities or learning opportunities for the intern will include:
- Assisting with the onboarding process for a complex licensed mental health program.
- Learning the FMLA and ADA processes.
- Shadowing Human Resources Generalists to gain experience in employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Shadowing the termination process.
- Assisting with handbook update project
- Opportunity to manage the interview and offer process for a set job requisition.
This internship will have the opportunity to shadow all HR functions throughout their learning experience.
Requirements
- An interest in the Human Resources field
- Previous experience within mental health, social services, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
- Primarily part-time role (20 hours a week) with potential for additional hours as available
- Self-motivated achiever who thrives in a mix of independence and being part of a team
- Flexible and easily adapts to new environments.
- On track for a bachelor's degree
- Enjoys technology, software, and has an ability to learn new technology.
- Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail with good interpersonal communication skills
