Affinity Plus is excited to kick-off our 2024 Summer Internship Program. This program will provide Interns with the opportunity to work within their area of career focus while interacting with teams to expand organizational knowledge. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to work within our Human Resources Team. The intern alongside the HR Team will review and make recommendations about our Performance Management review process for employees. In addition, the intern will research best practices and methodologies and prepare/ present recommendations for processes, tools and resources.

What we are seeking in an intern:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field, such as Human Resources Management
- Strong research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with people across the organization.
- Ability to primarily work remotely and travel to Saint Paul, MN as needed for collaborative work, meetings and events.
- Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with others
- Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on department and project needs
- Flexibility to adapt and succeed in a dynamic environment
Workplace Environment:
- Sitting 90-95% and standing 5-10%
- Working at a computer 98% of the day
- Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion
- Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc.
- Lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately up to 20 pounds with or without accommodations
Required Work Schedule:
Primarily Monday through Friday business hours with a willingness to explore a flexible work schedule as needed.
This internship will be from June 3rd, 2024 - August 9th, 2024 and offers the option to work mostly remote with occasional on-site days required for meetings, collaboration, and other events in St. Paul, MN. The intern should be located in Minnesota or Wisconsin for the duration of the internship.
