Job Summary
The HR Generalist partners with HR management on people-related projects, including talent operations, HR systems, employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and more. The jobholder is personable, driven and a team-player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help where needed. This role is on site 5 days/week. This is a 3-to-6-month temporary position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting, screening, and interviewing hourly job candidates.
- Manage job postings and applicant tracking system.
- Work with external recruiting sources, such as local schools, community organizations, and other agencies, as needed.
- Manage employee onboarding, including coordinating the pre-employment process and participating in new hire orientation.
- Assist and help with HR administrative duties, as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Experience working with HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter, but also work as a member of a growing team.
