Overview:
FHI 360 has an exciting internship opportunity for a student interested in growing their skills within the international development sector. The Media Relations Intern will work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-oriented, multi-media communications department to support the Media Relations strategy that advances FHI 360’s business priorities. Key functions include researching relevant reporters and developing interview support documents, creating reports to measure outcomes, and monitoring media outlets. This role will also support the external communications team by helping to develop written materials as well as general research and some administrative tasks.
This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule based on project needs.
Anticipated Duration: Fall 2024 Semester, August – December 2024
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Remote (US)

Practical experience with Media Relations and familiarity with Muck Rack (Media Relations software).
