Steel Equipment Specialists (SES) in Alliance, Ohio is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Human Resource Generalist with a passion to help people while providing administrative support and guidance to the Human Resources Department. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in our organization's success by managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting our employees. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting in the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding
- Administering and assisting with employee benefits and payroll
- Assisting with employee relations issues and conflict resolution
- Helping craft and Implementing HR policies and procedures
- Providing support and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters
Education, Experience and Criteria for this role include:
- Strong self-motivation, a team player and a quick learner.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Teams). ADP experience is a definite plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
- Has general concept of HR function or HR-related work process.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by conducting regular audits and maintaining accurate records.
- HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, etc. to identify trends and areas for improvement.
