Human Resources Generalist - Snyder, NE
Essential Job Functions:
- Manages all HRIS software including: ADP and SuccessFactors
- Controls and maintains functions that support payroll including: vacation tracking, timekeeping. Supports and works with attendance tracking.
- Administers and coordinates benefits to include enrollment, resolution, corrections, and communicating benefit information to employees for: Health, Medical, Life, 401k, Wellness, Vision, Safety Reimbursements, supplement Aflac programs, Flexible Spending, Health Savings and Employee Assistant Program.
- Creates and configures all department reports regarding: compensation, benefits, evaluations, attendance, participation and metrics.
- Upkeep regular contact with state and county officials in regards to garnishments, child support and employee information.
- Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Prepares and distributes all employee birthday and anniversary cards.
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; interviewing, job offers, conducts some aspects of new-employee orientations; employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
- Creates and distributes monthly company newsletter in addition to other pertinent employee information.
- Participates in administrative meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Prepares annual Compensation and Benefit reports for all employees.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and unemployment.
- Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
- Processes all terminations to include, software, insurance, benefits and payroll.
- Preforms preparation of the performance review forms and distributes.
- Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
- Preforms all scanning and filing of employee personnel information, time/labor, garnishments/child support, 401k and PHI files.
- Assists with planning annual employee appreciation dinner and other employer sponsored lunches etc.
- Provides functional guidance for administrative support needs.
- Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:

Required Education or Experience:
- A bachelor's degree and three (1) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience,
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Equivalent to appropriate four-year college program.
