Human Resources Generalist - Snyder, NE
Essential Job Functions:
  1. Manages all HRIS software including: ADP and SuccessFactors
  2. Controls and maintains functions that support payroll including: vacation tracking, timekeeping. Supports and works with attendance tracking.
  3. Administers and coordinates benefits to include enrollment, resolution, corrections, and communicating benefit information to employees for: Health, Medical, Life, 401k, Wellness, Vision, Safety Reimbursements, supplement Aflac programs, Flexible Spending, Health Savings and Employee Assistant Program.
  4. Creates and configures all department reports regarding: compensation, benefits, evaluations, attendance, participation and metrics.
  5. Upkeep regular contact with state and county officials in regards to garnishments, child support and employee information.
  6. Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  7. Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  8. Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  9. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  10. Prepares and distributes all employee birthday and anniversary cards.
  11. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; interviewing, job offers, conducts some aspects of new-employee orientations; employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
  12. Creates and distributes monthly company newsletter in addition to other pertinent employee information.
  13. Participates in administrative meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  14. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
  15. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Prepares annual Compensation and Benefit reports for all employees.
  16. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and unemployment.
  17. Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current.
  18. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  19. Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
  20. Processes all terminations to include, software, insurance, benefits and payroll.
  21. Preforms preparation of the performance review forms and distributes.
  22. Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
  23. Preforms all scanning and filing of employee personnel information, time/labor, garnishments/child support, 401k and PHI files.
  24. Assists with planning annual employee appreciation dinner and other employer sponsored lunches etc.
  25. Provides functional guidance for administrative support needs.
  26. Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
  27. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education or Experience:
  1. A bachelor's degree and three (1) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience,
  2. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  3. Equivalent to appropriate four-year college program.
