Human Resources Generalist

Human Resource Generalist position is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support daily operations including, but not limited to:

• Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
• Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, salary changes, review documents, personnel file letters, termination interviews
• Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
• Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
• Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
• Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management and employees
• Advising managers in appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
• Manage the companies' software, phones, PC needs and office maintenance
• Support Omaha and upcoming Lincoln office with a 90/10 balance
• Travel will be required
• Hours are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
• Requires at least 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a small or medium sized business setting (14-20 employees)
• Knowledge of HR techniques, applications and programs
• Strong working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office
• Must have strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and implement positive changes
• Able to work with limited supervision
