Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide 1st level interaction with hourly staff to address concerns and collect information related to new or on-going issues. Assist employees with issues related to ADP system & benefit related questions for a population of over 300 people. Distribution of live paychecks as needed.
- On-boarding: Organize/setup the full life-cycle on-boarding experience. This includes interviewing; creating offer letters and preparing drug screen/background check; leading new hire orientation; meeting/assisting employees with paperwork; ADP time clock enrollment.
- Employee Communications: Oversee the creation of all production floor communications on announcement boards/TVs/TEAMS Chats. Identify and enhance employee communications to more clearly connect with the population. Share employee focused messages with shifts at kick-off meetings.
- Recruiting: Be the lead HR rep for all hourly (non-technical) roles guiding the interview and selection process.
- HR Projects: Support with new and on-going department projects (research, preparation, etc.). Oversee self-identified improvement projects.
- Training: Provide support of initial ADP, Workday, and re-occurring HR related trainings (Code of conduct, sexual harassment, and position specific related training required by HR support).
- Employee Engagement: Support the coordination, planning, and executing of employee events. Manage coordination of all production related food orders.
- Develop/implement social media posts building up the FHP brand.
- Participate in plant related activities and strategically link take-aways to generate HR activities and programs. Act as a partner understanding the business from an operational perspective. Continuously display to the business how HR can positively affect the bottom line.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; HR Certification a plus
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
- Local candidates with ability to work off-shifts as needed (typically once every month or two)
- At least 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing/production setting; ability and desire to walk production floor multiple times a day and assist employees with questions
- Advanced user of systems/reports/Excel
- Detail-oriented; multi-tasker; critical thinker
