Job Summary:
As Human Resources Generalist, you will provide support to your assigned HR Manager and your assigned region. This partnership will include HR projects, administration, and business partner interaction. You will function as a collaborative HR expert to support organizational goals and help drive business strategy. You will also act as interface between client groups, HR Managers and HR areas of expertise including Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Employee Services, Talent Management and Learning & Development and New-hire Orientation & Onboarding experience. Some travel (about 10%) to our offices throughout your territory may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:Provide support to assigned HR Manager and assigned regions as needed. Understand and assist in answering incoming questions from employees and leaders while escalating appropriately to HR Manager when required.
- New Hire Orientation and Onboarding Experience: Set up new team members for success with the right training, mentoring and other "enculturating" experiences and activities.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with both internal policies and applicable state and federal regulations and laws. Complete monthly, quarterly and annual compliance requirements such as worker's compensation state required payments, EEOC reporting, Bureau of Labor Statistics data reporting, and more.
- Payroll:Responds to authorized parties on employee compensation and benefits; responds to employees regarding pay policies and transactions, ensures all regulatory requirements are met. Assists in escalating to Payroll department when needed.
- Total Rewards:In partnership with HR Manager, develops and maintain job descriptions. Assists assigned region with understanding and executing annual processes associated with performance management, merits, and incentives. Processes employee transactions associated with total rewards programs as needed.
- Talent Management: Support in-house recruiter and external recruitment resources. Interviews candidates, assists in administrative functions of hiring processes and acts as back-up for HR Coordinator on system data entry as needed.
- Learning & Development:Assists, in partnership with Learning and Development team, in content creation and delivery. Works with Learning and Development to ensure required trainings are provided and subsequently monitored for completion.
- HR Data:Is organization lead for ensuring employee data accuracy within HR systems. Regularly completes data reviews and audits and recommends process improvement as needed.
- HR Projects:Completes regularly occurring and ad hoc HR projects as needed. Examples include, but are not limited to, assisting with company acquisitions, systems integrations, recognition programs, policy development and general process improvement.

Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education:
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
- 1+ years' experience supporting client groups
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
- Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in multi-functional capacities as such as coordinator or generalist
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification is preferred
- Experience in working across functional/business lines in a multi-site organization
- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, laws and regulations
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Payroll processing experience is preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually moderate. All employees may be required to visit a customer site and/or complete a ride along with a field technician as part of their employment.
