We are looking for a talented individual to join our team. The individual will assist in daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) Department. The work requires high levels of discretion and are critical and sensitive in nature. Responsibilities will also include assisting with writing and updating position descriptions, performance reviews, HR records, recruiting efforts, internal policies, benefits, compensation, time off requests and tracking, and reviewing, tracking and documenting training and document compliance. This position will also include handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors. This position will also conduct employee onboarding, and background checks and employee eligibility verifications as needed. Additional duties as assigned.
The individual will be based in either our Lakewood, CO or Grand Junction, CO office. Hybrid schedule may be available.
You MUST currently live in the Lakewood, CO or Grand Junction, CO area, relocation will not be provided.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- Intermediate understanding of HR data entry and tracking databases
- Strong organization and records management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete complex tasks efficiently and thoroughly
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to learn new software and web applications
- Knowledge of HR records management, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Knowledge of HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, recognition and training
Preferred Education:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- AA or HR certificate preferred
