Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the human resources team and managing a range of activities related to the employee experience, including, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee relations, recruiting, and offboarding activities. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees.
This position is full-time and is hybrid remote. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. The actual rate is based on fair market value based on your geographical location, skills, role requirements, and responsibilities. This posted compensation is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Denovo reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administers pre-employment activities (offer letters, background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, reference checks, and new hire paperwork).
- Conducts HRIS data entry (new hire, status changes, termination, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource electronic files for each employee, while adhering to the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Responsible for offboarding activities, including conducting exit interviews and making recommendations to the management team for appropriate action and continuous improvement.
- Answer routine employee questions related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to management.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, tracking candidates in our ATS, and scheduling interviews.
- Assists the human resources department with projects, tasks, and ad hoc responsibilities.
- Assists with planning and execution of events, such as quarterly meetings, employee events, and holiday parties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources position.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HR best practices.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
