We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR functions and a genuine commitment to supporting the unique needs of our community. Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and retention processes for employees across various program services
• Administers process across all stages of the employee lifecycle
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
• Manage workers' compensation claims process, including reporting and documentation.
• Serve as liaison between employees, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support other department functions including training and development, benefits administration, and compliance

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates welcome!
• Undergraduate degree in HR, business, or closely related field is a plus
• Knowledge or experience in recruitment field a plus
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Competency in computer skills including office programs and related agency software
• Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials; establishing priorities; and meeting deadlines
• Aptitude for organization in implementing new and creative systems
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing business
• Embraces change and demonstrates continuous flexibility
• Due to the nature of the work performed at Sample Supports, and that this position works with an at risk population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Salary Description
$22.28/hour
