Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is not a remote position.
Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our dynamic team, someone passionate about shaping a growing HR Department. As an HR Generalist at Bluestaq, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the recruitment team, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Administering compensation changes and benefit plans, advising employees on eligibility and coverage.
- Assisting with new hire onboarding events and processes.
- Conducting offboarding sessions, where you'll collect and share critical feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing employee performance review processes and working with management to develop talent and succession planning.
- Addressing employee relations issues, such as work complaints or other employee concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Developing and implementing human resource policies and procedures.
- Gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Organizing quarterly and annual employee performance review events and documentation.
What you Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Hands-On HR Operations Experience: At least 5 years of experience performing core HR functions, such as recruitment, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and worker's compensation management.
- Employee Relations Expertise: A strong background in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Customer Focus Mindset: The ability to take care of people is a must.
- Strategic HR Involvement: Experience in implementing strategic initiatives, contributing to policy formulation, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with HR Systems and other tech tools that streamline HR processes, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legal and Compliance Acumen: Knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations is essential.
- Training and Development: Skills in identifying training needs, creating training programs, and measuring their effectiveness.
- A current HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
