Job Description
Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Location: On site in Colorado Springs, CO
The HR Generalist will support the designated Affiliates to include creating and enforcing company policy, employee onboarding and engagement, and leave administration.
Essential Job Functions/Competencies
- Performs tasks to administer benefits and leave.
- Coordination of FMLA and other leaves.
- 401k Administration
- Assist in responding to employee relation issues.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Worker’s Comp Administration
- Benefits/COBRA information
- Status Changes
- ACA Reporting
- EEO-1 Compliance and Reporting
- Employment verifications
- Employee file record keeping
- Employee engagement activities
Certifications, Licensures or Registry Requirements
SHRM CP or SCP desired
Educational Requirements
- College degree or equivalent preferred, related experience and coursework applicable to Human Resource Management a plus.
Experience Requirement
- 3-5 years of HR experience
