Job Description:As an HR Generalist at Fortcom Health Services, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. You will be instrumental in recruiting top talent, administering benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and developing policies that promote company culture and vision.
Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Administer employee benefits, answer employee queries, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
Conduct employee performance reviews, manage grievance procedures, and ensure a safe, respectful workplace.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Organize and manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
Provide support and guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
